‘Banshee’ Blu-ray Relase Date, Bonus Features Revealed
Filmed in and around Charlotte, North Carolina and in parts of South Carolina, the first season of Cinemax’s hit new series Banshee arrives on Blu-ray and DVD this summer.
Bonus features include a behind the scenes look at the New York City bus crash scene from the first episode, deleted scenes, audio commentaries with cast and crew, a Banshee prequel comic book, the complete collection of Banshee Origins prequel short films, a Season 2 teaser trailer, and the featurettes Inside the Title Sequence, Town of Secrets, and Zooming In: Episodes 7 and 8.
Heads Roll In First ‘Sleepy Hollow’ Trailer
FOX announced last week that the network will pick up the Sleepy Hollow pilot, filmed in Salisbury, North Carolina, to series, and while it is unclear at this point if the production will return to the state to shoot future episodes, we have the first ever trailer for the pilot for you to check out.

FOX Picks Up ‘Sleepy Hollow’, Filming Location Unclear
FOX announced yesterday that the network will pick up the Sleepy Hollow pilot, filmed in and around Charlotte, North Carolina, to series, though it is unclear at this point if the production will return to the state to shoot future episodes. You can check out our first image from the pilot below!
Starring Tom Mison (Salman Fishing in the Yemen) as the new Ichabod Crane, along with Orlando Jones (MADtv), Katia Winter (Dexter), and Nicole Beharie (The Good Wife), the drama pilot was co-written by Alex Kurtzman and Bob Orci (the team behind Transformers and Star Trek) and directed by Len Wiseman (Underworld, Total Recall).
Jim Carrey Comedy ‘Loomis Fargo’ To Film True NC Story In North Carolina
Set to begin filming this month in North Carolina, Relativity Media will bring a true heist story that happened in Charlotte to life in a new comedy starring Jim Carrey.
Loomis Fargo is the story of a real life robbery that took place in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1997, when David Scott Ghantt, the driver of a Loomis Fargo & Company armored car grabbed $17 million, stuck it in a company van, and drove off with the money, committing the third largest cash robbery in United States history at the time.

Fans still mourning the loss of Danny on Revolution should be happy to learn that Graham Rogers is returning to North Carolina to film a sexy new thriller in Charlotte starting next week.
Revolution’s Graham Rogers will join Isabel Lucas (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen), Dermot Mulroney (Young Guns), and Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers in the new thriller Careful What You Wish For, set to begin filming on April 22 in Charlotte, North Carolina from Hyde Park Entertainment and Troika Pictures, as revealed last week by Variety.
Julian Sands Joins ‘Banshee’ Cast As Amoral Priest
Filmed in and around Charlotte, North Carolina and in parts of South Carolina, Season 2 of Cinemax’s hit series Banshee just started production this week, as Julian Sands (24, Smallville) has been announced as the newest member of the cast.
TV Line reports that Sands has booked a three-episode Season 2 arc oas Rabbit’s (Ben Cross) equally as dangerous younger brother, who also happens to be a devout and amoral Ukrainian priest.

Filmed in and around Charlotte, North Carolina and in parts of South Carolina, the first season of Cinemax’s hit new series Banshee wrapped up last night with an awesome season finale featuring more death and destruction than the previous nine episodes combined. (What did you expect?)

John Cho Joins FOX’s ‘Sleepy Hollow’ Pilot Filming in Charlotte, NC
Best known as Sulu in the 2009 Star Trek remake and Star Trek Into Darkness, and as the uptight half of the Harold and Kumar pot comedy duo, John Cho is the latest cast member to join the pilot episode of FOX’s upcoming Headless Horseman series Sleepy Hollow, to be filmed in and around Charlotte, North Carolina.
