‘Ghosts’ Renamed Again …Back To ‘Jessabelle’
Filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina, the upcoming horror thriller Jessabelle, from Saw VI and Saw 3D director Kevin Greutert and writer Robert Ben Garant (Reno 911), was recently ranamed Ghosts, but it seems Lionsgate likes their original title best (we do too), as the studio has now reverted the movie’s name back to Jessabelle, according to Bloody-Disgusting.com.

Braidsmaids breakout star Melissa McCarthy’s new comedy Tammy is currently shooting in and around Wilmington, North Carolina, and we now have an official release date for the raucous road trip comedy, written and directed by McCarthy and her husband Ben Falcone.

‘Bridesmaids’ star Melissa McCarthy will reunite with her real life husband Ben Falcone in their new comedy ‘Tammy’, which they wrote and will direct in Wilmington, NC.
Warner Bros. Pictures announced last week that Tammy will be released in theaters on July 2, 2014, facing off against Disney’s Sleeping Beauty reimagining Maleficent, starring Angelina Jolie as the evil witch. McCarthy and company will face bigger competition in the comedy Sex Tape, starring Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel, which is also scheduled to open on the same day.
Don’t be surprised if this release date gets shifted at some point.

Braidsmaids breakout star Melissa McCarthy’s new comedy Tammy will begin principal photography around Wilmington, North Carolina next week, as crews were already filming scenes in Brunswick County and Boiling Spring Lakes this week.

‘Bridesmaids’ star Melissa McCarthy will reunite with her real life husband Ben Falcone in their new comedy ‘Tammy’, which they wrote and will direct in Wilmington, NC.
Tammy is a raucous road trip comedy written and to be directed by McCarthy and her husband and co-star Ben Falcone.
The production will be shooting in and around Wilmington for a few months starting on May 3, according to Star News.

Fans of the evil genius Hannibal “The Cannibal” Lecter are eating up NBC’s new series Hannibal, but the horror icon’s first big screen appearance came in a stylish ’80s thriller that inspired the show, while his biggest would come almost 15 years later in the series’ namesake, and both were filmed partly in North Carolina thanks to legendary producer Dino De Laurentiis.

Set to begin filming this month in North Carolina, Relativity Media will bring a true heist story that happened in Charlotte to life in a new comedy starring Jim Carrey.
Loomis Fargo is the story of a real life robbery that took place in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1997, when David Scott Ghantt, the driver of a Loomis Fargo & Company armored car grabbed $17 million, stuck it in a company van, and drove off with the money, committing the third largest cash robbery in United States history at the time.
