‘Banshee’ Blu-ray Relase Date, Bonus Features Revealed
Filmed in and around Charlotte, North Carolina and in parts of South Carolina, the first season of Cinemax’s hit new series Banshee arrives on Blu-ray and DVD this summer.
Bonus features include a behind the scenes look at the New York City bus crash scene from the first episode, deleted scenes, audio commentaries with cast and crew, a Banshee prequel comic book, the complete collection of Banshee Origins prequel short films, a Season 2 teaser trailer, and the featurettes Inside the Title Sequence, Town of Secrets, and Zooming In: Episodes 7 and 8.
‘Safe Haven’ Blu-ray, DVD Details Revealed
Filmed in Southport, North Carolina, the Nicholas Sparks adaptation Safe Haven arrives on Blu-ray and DVD on May 7.
Special features on both discs include an alternate ending and deleted and extended scenes, while the Blu-ray only will also include the exclusive featurettes “Igniting the Romance in Safe Haven”, “Set Tour”, and “Josh Duhamel’s Lessons in Crabbing”.

Warner Bros. Pictures will release the thriller The Apparition on DVD and Blu-ray this week, and we’ve landed a new clip from the horror film featuring Winston-Salem, North Carolina native Julianna Guill!
