CBS Series Pilot ‘Red Zone’ to Film in Wilmington

An untitled new series [UPDATE: We've learned the series will be called Red Zone] pilot for the CBS network will begin filming in Wilmington, North Carolina this April.

CBS is bringing a new pilot to film in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Bill Vasser, executive vice president of EUE / Screen Gems Studios, confirmed yesterday that the pilot episode of the new series will begin shooting on April 10, according to Star News.

When a terrorist event rocks Washington, D.C., a retired CIA operative is pulled back into action, forced to investigate closer to home where the next generation of terrorists are being bred.

The pilot episode will be written by Nikki Toscano (Revenge) and executive produced by Toscano and Kerry Ehrin (Bates Motel).
