First ‘Safe Haven’ Photos Revealed, Trailer Coming Tuesday!
The first trailer for the upcoming Nicholas Sparks adaptation Safe Haven, filmed in Southport, North Carolina this summer, will premiere this Tuesday, followed by a live online chat with the film’s stars.
The trailer announcement came yesterday, following the reveal of the first official images from the highly anticipated thriller earlier this week, all of which you can check out below!
After two photos went online at USA Today on Wednesday, Yahoo debuted two more yesterday, when it was also announced via the film’s official Facebook page that the trailer will premiere this Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 7pm ET, followed by a live Q & A with Sparks and the film’s lead actors Josh Duhamel and Julianne Hough on Facebook.

Starring Julianne Hough (Rock of Ages, Footloose), Josh Duhamel (Transformers), and Cobie Smulders (The Avengers) – Safe Haven was filmed and is set in Southport, NC.
Lasse Hallstrom (My Life as a Dog, The Cider House Rules) directs for Relativity Media, based on the novel by North Carolina author Nicholas Sparks.
The plot is ”a young woman with a mysterious past lands in Southport, North Carolina where her bond with a widower forces her to confront the dark secret that haunts her”.
North Carolina previously hosted the Sparks adaptations A Walk to Remember (2002), also filmed in Southport, and Nights in Rodanthe (2007), filmed in the village of Rodanthe on Hatteras Island.
You can find Safe Haven in theaters on February 8, 2013.
