‘Iron Man 3′ Teaser Trailer Coming This Month!

Production of Iron Man 3 has wrapped in Wilmington, North Carolina and is currently shooting this week in Florida, as Marvel Studios has now revealed when you will get your first official look at the highly anticipated superhero sequel.

Filming of Iron Man 3 was temporarily halted in August after actor Robert Downey Jr. suffered an ankle injury on the set, but the production is apparently back on track, as E! Online has confirmed that Marvel will unveil the first teaser trailer for the film in just under three weeks, at 12:01 am on October 23!

Of course, we will have it for you here at NCHollywood.com as soon as it comes online.

The latest chapter in the blockbuster Marvel / Disney franchise, Iron Man 3 stars Robert Downey Jr. (The Avengers), Gwyneth Paltrow (Iron Man), Don Cheadle (Iron Man 2), Paul Bettany (Priest), Guy Pearce (Prometheus), Ben Kingsley (Hugo), Rebecca Hall, James Badge Dale, Ashley Hamilton, Stephanie Szostak, and Jon Favreau (Iron Man), who directed the first two films and also serves as a producer.

Shane Black (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) takes over the director’s chair for this installment.

Filming started in May at EUE/Screen Gems Studios in Wilmington, NC, was unexpectedly stopped in August after Downey’s injury, and resumed this week in Dania Beach, Florida.

Despite the six week delay in production, Iron Man 3 is still scheduled to land in theaters on May 3, 2013.
