Britt Robertson Joins ‘Starbuck’ as Vince Vaughn’s Daughter

Charlotte, North Carolina native Britt Robertson has joined the cast of the DreamWorks Pictures comedy Starbuck as one of 533 children fathered by a sperm donor played by Vince Vaughn.

Deadline reports that former Secret Circle star Britt Robertson (Scream 4, Dan in Real Life) will play Kristen, a troubled teen who is one of the hundreds of children fathered by Vince Vaughn’s (Wedding Crashers) character through sperm donation years earlier.

Starbuck is a remake of the 2011 French-Candian film of the same name, with both the original director and producer on board.

Robertson recently finished filming the drama White Rabbit with Sam Trammell (HBO’s True Blood), and will next be seen in Sony Pictures’ upcoming teen romance The First Time with Victoria Justice (Fun Size), opening in theaters on October 19, 2012.
