First Look at Mary Elizabeth Winstead in ‘Smashed’
Sony Pictures Classics released an official clip last week from the upcoming drama Smashed, starring Rocky Mount, North Carolina native Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Death Proof) as an alcoholic teacher trying to go sober.
In the clip below, Winstead’s character gets schooled on honesty by Nick Offerman (We’re the Millers).
Directed by James Ponsoldt, Smashed premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival and was screened this past weekend at the Toronto International Film Festival.
In addition to Winstead and Offerman, the film also stars Aaron Paul (AMC’s Breaking Bad), Octavia Spencer (The Help), Kyle Gallner (Jennifer’s Body), Bree Turner (The Ugly Truth), and Megan Mullally (NBC’s Will & Grace).
You can get Smashed in theaters starting October 12, 2012.
