‘Homeland’ Wins 2 TV Critics Association Awards
Now in production on season 2 in Charlotte, North Carolina, Showtime’s massively successful hit series Homeland took home two Television Critics Association (TCA) Awards last night.

Honoring the best programming of the 2011-2012 TV season, the 28th Annual TCA Awards ceremony was held on Saturday, July 28, in Los Angeles, CA, hosted by Bryan Cranston of AMC’s Breaking Bad.
The Showtime series Homeland – filmed in Charlotte, NC and also this year in Tel Aviv, Isreal - was named Outstanding New Program for its freshman season, while Claire Danes won Individual Achievement in a Drama for her role as CIA officer Carrie Mathison.
Starring Claire Danes (My So Called Life, Romeo + Juliet), Damian Lewis (Your Highness, Dreamcatcher), Morena Baccarin (NBC’s V), and Zuleika Robinson (ABC’s Lost), Homeland won the 2012 Golden Globe for Best Drama and is nominated for nine Emmy Awards this year.
Currently in production in Charlotte, NC, season 2 of Homeland premieres on Showtime on Sunday, September 30.
