OTH’s Daniella Alonso Joins NBC’s ‘Revolution’
Daniella Alonso (One Tree Hill; Friday Night Lights) is the latest addition to join the cast of NBC’s new J.J. Abrams (Lost, Star Trek) series Revolution – now filming in Wilmington, North Carolina!
TV Line reported earlier this week that Alonso will join the NBC series as Nora, a character described by writer and series creator Eric Kripke as “a rebel fighter battling against the militia that controls North America. And she’s got a lot of rough water under the bridge with Miles, Billy Burke’s character. And she likes to blow stuff up.”
The actress previously worked in North Carolina when she starred as Anna Taggaro in 11 episodes during the 2004-2005 second season of the CW series One Tree Hill, which was also filmed in the area.
She had a small uncredited role in the 2001 comedy Black Knight starring Martin Lawrence, which was also shot in Wilmington and Carolina Beach, NC.
Alonso also appeared as Carlotta Alonso in 10 episodes of the NBC series Friday Night Lights in 2007-2008; and has starred in feature films including The Hills Have Eyes 2 (2007), The Collector (2009), and the upcoming Re-Kill.
Revolution begins on NBC on September 17.

While the pilot episode – directed by Jon Favreau (who is also currently in Wilmington shooting Iron Man 3) – was shot in Atlanta, GA, the bulk of the series itself is being filmed in Wilmington, NC this summer.
The production is expected to generate over 100 full time jobs and millions of dollars for the state, plus hundreds of opportunities for area actors to work as extras on the much anticipated show.
Revolution stars Billy Burke (The Twilight Saga), Tracy Spiridakos (Being Human), Anna Lise Phillips (Terra Nova), Zak Orth (Romeo + Juliet) and Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad).
