‘Lost’ Star Elizabeth Mitchell Finds NBC’s ‘Revolution’
Veteran genre actress Elizabeth Mitchell has joined the cast of NBC’s new J.J. Abrams series Revolution – now in production in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Mitchell (Lost, V) will reportedly play the same character that Andrea Roth (Rescue Me) plays in the pilot episode, though Mitchell will play the character during flashback scenes featured in later episodes, according to TV Guide.
Mitchell previously starred in NBC’s attempted reboot of the alien invasion series V, and for four seasons as Juliet Burke on ABC’s popular series Lost, which was also created by Abrams.
Revolution begins on NBC on September 17.

While the pilot episode – directed by Jon Favreau (who is also currently in Wilmington shooting Iron Man 3) – was shot in Atlanta, GA, the bulk of the series itself is being filmed in Wilmington, NC this summer.
The production is expected to generate over 100 full time jobs and millions of dollars for the state, plus hundreds of opportunities for area actors to work as extras on the much anticipated show.
Revolution stars Billy Burke (The Twilight Saga), Tracy Spiridakos (Being Human), Anna Lise Phillips (Terra Nova), Zak Orth (Romeo + Juliet), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), and Daniella Alonso (One Tree Hill).
