Mary Elizabeth Winstead Takes Aim in ‘Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter’

We finally get a glimpse of Rocky Mount, North Carolina native Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Mary Todd Lincoln in the intense new red-band trailer for the upcoming action horror epic Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.

The R-rated adaptation of author Seth Grahame-Smith’s best selling novel that reimagines the 16th American President as a slayer of bloodsuckers is produced by Tim Burton (Batman, Dark Shadows) and directed by Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted).

The film stars Benjamin Walker (Flags of Our Fathers) as one seriously badass Honest Abe, along with Winstead (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Death Proof) as the woman by his side.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter opens in theaters this Friday, June 22.
